Globus Toolkit Support

We are supporting and using Globus Toolkit v2.4.3 (GT2) and v4.0.1 (GT4) in many e-Science projects. This page is intended to provide helpful information on these toolkits.
Globus mirror at Manchester. The Globus Web site contains the definitive information about Globus. To lessen their load we are using the Manchester HEP Globus mirror site.
To help with installing Globus or VDT you can use the GROWL Scripts.

Globus v2.2 (GT2)
We are now supporting and using Globus Toolkit v2.2 (GT2) in many e-Science projects.

Download. The latest source can be obtained from the DisCo Software Distribution Portal. Look under "Globus2.2.3" in the Grid archive applications list. We have added an install script for this release. Please note that each minor release has significant differences from previous ones, so 2.2 and 2.2.2 are also kept for reference.
